RAS Gala 2024
Honouring the Legacy, Shaping the Future
The Royal African Society invites you to join us at our
2024 Benefit Gala
“Honouring the Legacy, Shaping the Future”
from 5.30 pm (GMT) on Friday 22nd November 2024
at the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).
The Gala will showcase innovation and creativity as brilliant conduits for change. The Royal African Society will recognise, applaud and share the outstanding contributions made by businesses, investors, foundations, activists, creatives and exemplary individuals who have had a significant impact on their communities and beyond.
Through this Benefit Gala we aim to raise funds for the Royal African Society’s 2025-2030 programme and establish new partnerships, unlocking potential to co-create a wide scope of activities in the future, in line with our unique mandate.
We will gather decision makers, dignitaries, change agents, community leaders and influential figures from the world of business, finance, politics, arts, academia and culture, to celebrate and showcase the profound power of African narratives in shaping the continent’s future amidst the global agenda.
The spectacular evening will include networking, keynote speeches, cultural performances, award presentations, a gourmet 3-course dinner, and a live and silent auction managed by Sotheby’s and supported by Artsy.
Tickets are available on Eventbrite from £125 (excl. fees).
There is a range of special sponsorship opportunities available for all supporters.
